About three days ago I updated this plugin to the latest version (1.2.5) and ever since then, e-mails have stopped working! I am using it specifically for Gmail connection. I ran a test e-mail and got this error:
“There was a problem while retrieving Mailer for gmail: Could not json decode the token”
I then noticed there’s no “save” changes button on the bottom of the page like there is on the Misc page for the plugin. I saw in other threads people fixing a similar problem by selecting a different service, saving and then going back to Gmail and saving again. I can not save because the button simply isn’t there. I tried uninstalling, deleting and then re-installing the plugin but this has made no change at all.
I do have my server setup with Postfix and some sites that require Gmail I use this plugin and others I’ve just had Postfix and letting WordPress’s default php mailer. Simply disabling this plugin and my e-mails are sending for the affected sites.
This is a real bummer for me because I really loved this plugin up until now. Gmail issues I can understand, but when I tried to set the plugin to use the default or any other mail option and discovered there’s definitely an issue with the plugin since there’s no save option I was definitely take back.
