We are sending using Office 365, using the “other SMTP” option. We have created a dedicated email account to use for authenticating to and sending via SMTP (“connector@mycompany.com”).
When we send a test email using the plugin’s “Test” tab, the test email always shows the “From” as “info@mycompany.com” (which is the main admin email for the site). And the test fails. We do authenticate successfully, but it looks like the “from” email being different is causing it to fail.
I have set the “from” email in the first tab, and tried checking the box to force it, but it still comes through as “info@”. Is there some other step we should take to get this forced “from” email to work?
