Email from WPForm verified sender issue

I’m running WP Mail SMTP 2.1.1 and WPForms Lite 1.6.0.2 using SendGrid. When I use the test facility within WP Mail SMTP the test email works correctly. However when I send an email from the form this generates an error

The from address does not match a verified Sender Identity. Mail cannot be sent until this error is resolved. Visit https://sendgrid.com/docs/for-developers/sending-email/sender-identity/ to see the Sender Identity requirements – from;

I have doublechecked that my sender email is verified.

Any advice on how to resolve would be most welcome.
