Using WP SMTP Mail, but I have turned this off and used the PHPMail and experience the same issue.
The email that is sent to a user to recover their password is taking an extraordinarily long time (an hour plus) to be received or it is not being received at all.
Within WP SMTP Mail I can see that the password reset email is not even being sent by the system. However, during the time period while waiting for the PW reset email to be sent other emails, including test emails in WP SMTP Mail (and also not using WP SMTP Mail) are being sent and received.
It seems that at this point that everything except password reset emails are functioning. I’m at a loss as to why that might be.
