Hi Folks:
My site is under construction and uses WPForms Lite and WP SMTP (not premium) to support the Contact Us menu item. A test email was sent from the site which contains “doesn’t work” in the subject line and “test message of ‘ ….” in the body (both without the double quotes).
The received email included modifications where the apostrophe had been. The subject line shows “doesn\'t work” and the body shows “test message of \’ ….” (both without the double quotes).
What’s going on with the apostrophe? It’s being processed somehow/somewhere. I don’t know where to start debugging this one. Is this an issue with WP SMTP?…with WPForms Lite?…with WordPress?…with the theme?….
All site plugins (and WP) reflect the latest version. Also, am using Astra Pro theme.
