Hi Sanjeev @sanzeeb3
I am using WP Mail SMTP plugin version 2.6.0( it's been recently updated, i guess). Earlier I was using ver 2.5.1(X-Mailer: WPMailSMTP/Mailer/smtp 2.5.1
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit)
Now with ver 2.5.1, when the mails were being sent to a Gmail address, the hyperlinks & the font color(lets say red) would stay intact in the Gmail inbox WHEREAS
With ver 2.6.0 the font color is changed to black from red & all the hyperlinks are removed.
When I checked in GMail (Show Original Message option) , i found that Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit was not present as it was in ver 2.5.1( you can see in this post).
Now , 2 Questions:
Is the absence of Content-transfer - Encoding responsible for this?
2. What can be the possible cause & solution to this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
