Hi, I switched recently to Microsoft 365. Hence emails are now with Microsoft Exchange. As a result I don´t receive emails from my website anymore. Step1: I tried to sort the problem via the hoster who amended name server settings – this wasn´t successful. Step 2: I then got recommended to use WP Mail SMTP Plug in. However it didn´t work with Microsoft SMTP settings. So I called Microsoft support and the guy tried various things incl app password as described here: https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-other-smtp-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/#secure-outlook – without success: SMTP error could not authenticate.
My questions:
a. how can I solve this issue after having reached out to hoster and microsoft support without success
b. can I only connect with Microsoft Exchange by using the Pro version?
I´d be gratful for any support on this.
