WP mail SMTP not sending emails

I’m using the sendgrid provider via the free WP mail SMTP plugin. Since two days ago, I’ve had an outage where no emails would reach my website clients. It worked briefly for a couple of hours yesterday then stopped again until the time of writing this thread. I’ve double checked all the settings in the plugin and in my sendgrid user panel, nothing is out of order. Please help.
