I’ve read the forums and for years people have been reporting that the spam filter in WP Forms isn’t working. The techies keep repeating the same reply, along the lines of “we have a great spam filter but how about one of these plugins that we don’t support”.
Well, how about fixing the spam filter? If a plugin has a spam filter, we shouldn’t need another plugin to filter spam on the contact forms.
I am getting so much spam that I deactivated the contact form. However, I was still getting spam messages from my website. (How?) So if I was getting it anyway, I thought I may as well add the latest plugin after all and see if that works. I’m sorry to say it doesn’t.
Is this being looked at? Is it being fixed? Or will we still simply be asked to use a plugin that isn’t supported?
