Pubchum on "[Plugin: WP Mail SMTP] Not sending the test email"

I could not get GMAIL to work either. I tried every possible combination, even the suggestions from the FAQ and different GMAIL accounts.

Finally I used my local host's SMTP (lunarpages). I created an email account and the output description had what seemed like all the necessary info. I used it and it worked. I guess GMAIL really doesn't like SPAM.
