Test email works fine, but nothign from woocommerce is getting sent. Even going to an order and clicking on send order completed email, nothing is going out. Password resets not either, basically only the test email works but nothing else.
Any idea where I can begin to troubleshoot ?

Not sure what’s happening here but having worked perfectly since installing over a year ago, suddenly having issues with the plugin that meant I had to go into the backend in Recovery Mode and disable it before the site would operate properly.
Strange thing is, this just started in last hour and no new updates had been run on either the server, WP core or other plugins???

We are having an issue with getting accounts approved with SendGrid and/or SendinBlue. they do not appear to want to work with your plugin anymore. Not sure why. Any ideas?

I tested my site with the new PHP 7.4. Using 7.4 I am unable to send emails. It works with 7.3.
Obviously with PHP 7.4 just coming out, it’s reasonable for it to not be supported yet. I just thought I’d let you know that there does appear to be an issue.

I have designed a site using Elementor Pro and Astra. There are some forms on the page, and we are putting the site behind a Web Application Firewall. On the beta, the forms fill out OK but no longer send mail.
Does the smtp plugin use the same session that the request came in on to send the traffic out? Or would the SMTP plugin create a fresh outbound session for sending the email?

Hi everyone.
We’re experiencing issue with WP Mail SMTP. When i send test email, senders name is sent correctly.
When i use contact form, it sends from correct email wordpress@website.com but doesn’t send Name. Tried everything but it’s not working, Just plain email and thats it, it just says WordPress.
I’ve tried all fixes i saw all around the web but none helped.
It’s configured trough Google’s api, email is created on our domain.

Configured WP Mail SMTP plugin to connect via Gmail API as described in these instructions.
Authenticated the App OK but receive the below error message when configuration is saved. Unable to send test email, button is grayed out.
Cannot find any posts with similar issues. Has anyone seen this before?
Notes:
*Google Gmail account has 2FA disabled and Less Secure Apps enabled.
*No other SMTP configurations work to 3 other email providers…. Have been fighting this module for over 12 hours now…..

Hi!
Since yesterday, since this Plugin got updated to 1.8.0 (before: 1.7.1) I can’t send E-Mails with Attachments any more… before and without the Plugin it works fine!
I am getting this Errormessage:

I am having problems adding new user with the latest version of WP. I am running 1.8.1 of the SMTP plugin and PHP 7.3.12
I have added the following to my wp-config.php file
define( ‘WPMS_ON’, true );
define( ‘WPMS_SMTP_PASS’, XXXXXXXXXX
and it has been working great for the past year.
However, now with the WP 5.3.1 I cannot add a new user. The error message is 500 “Internal Server Error”.
If I disable the WP SMTP plugin I am able to add the user. So it appears there’s an issuer with the latest version of 5.3.1 as that’s the only difference.

I recently set up SMTP through WP mail smtp. When I run a test email I receive the message with no issues. When I try to use a simple contact form from WP Forms it does not send the email to me. I am using Zoho mail and everything seems to be configured correctly, I even replaced {admin_email} in the settings page to the correct email, even though it’s the same email. Any help would be appreciated

Hi there,
I have successfully installed the plugin and linked to gmail but I continue to get this error and I am unable to send a test email. I have tried uninstalling the plugin, clearing the cache and re-installing the plugin but this didn’t work. I have also tried ‘allowing’ the plugin to access my gmail account several times but it still hasn’t cured the problem. Any ideas you have would be very welcome!
