We recently had a very negative experience using SendInBlue to SMTP-send email for a client (per https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-set-up-the-sendinblue-mailer-in-wp-mail-smtp/).
A form on the client’s site was used to submit spam (to the client’s own email addresses). SendInBlue suspended their account, but even when we resolved the issue they refused to re-enable the account, and also refused to tell us why.
In addition, our first three support emails to them went unanswered. We were left without the ability to send email from the site for 2+ weeks.
Needless to say, this isn’t an acceptable solution for an operating business. With this client, their IT was able to enable relay via Office 365 but that isn’t always an option.
Do folks have a preferred alternative service for clients needing SMTP services?
