Hello,
I recently found out that the contact forms on my site sometimes haven’t sent the messages (also not going to the success page). I found out that when I clear the cache of my W3 Total Cache plugin it works correctly again. I am using Siteorigin Contact Form plugin. So or WP Mail SMTP or my Contact Form plugin doesn’t work safely with W3 Total Cache. Would you know where the problem might be and how to solve it? Is there some file I can exclude from caching by W3 Total Cache?. Thanks in advance…

Hello, when I store my mail password in plain text in the plugin my contactforms are sent succesfully.
However, when I follow the recommendation to store the password in wp-config (as explained in the plugin settings), then the contactform is not sent.
Any idea what is causing this issue?

Hi, this notice can be seen always in my dashboard area. Mails are not working and showing this error.
EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v1.6.2 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:
Mailer: Other SMTP
PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server but failed while trying to send an email.
Please review your WP Mail SMTP settings in plugin admin area. Consider running an email test after fixing it.

It has been working fine for over a year up until updating the plugin a few days back. Now its stopped sending all emails, including test emails.
When attempting to send a test email it does state “Test HTML email was sent successfully! Please check your inbox to make sure it is delivered.”
However there is nothing in my inbox. I have tried sending the test emails to another email address, and also a gmail account instead. No emails received.
The settings are same as before the update. Nothing has been changed here.
I have tried changing the ‘Mailer’ to something different, then saving, then changing it back to PHP and re-saving. Still no emails being sent.
I have tried sending the emails as both HTML & plain text. No emails received still.
Please can someone advise what I should do here?

My all the emails that are sent to the subscribers are being stored in the spam section of the mail box.

Hi,
when my WP Mail SMTP got set up we made a typo in the email that is used for testing purposes. Of course that email didn’t arrive anywhere. Ever since I‘m getting a delivery error notification mail in my inbox multiple times a day and I don‘t know how to make it go away. I tried deleting that particular email in my MS365 mail outbox but that didn’t help.

As soon as I activated this plugin and setup my Google APIs, my website got over 400 spam messages in an hour from my contact forms with reCaptcha enabled.
I disabled the plugin and the spam messages stopped. Re-enabled it 4 hours later and bam, spammers.
THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY.

Question regarding G Suite: is it possible/allowed to create one Client ID / Secret Key and use them for multiple websites on different domains?
I can add multiple domains when I create an app, but can only enter one return path.

Hi,
I have been using the SMTP plugin for a while now and it works very well. However, I recently began managing multiple adwords accounts for clients and google is ow requiring that I use 2 step verification on my email address in order to access the different accounts from within my primary adwords account. When I did this is caused the plugin to throw an error and I had no idea that email notifications were not going out for several days. It was easy enough to fix by just going through all of the set up steps again, but now I can’t access these adwords accounts without breaking the plugin on my site.
Any ideas on how to get the plugin to work when I have 2 step verification on in gmail? Or can you envision a better solution to my problem?

a friend of mine has a website build with SiteOrigin. WordPress Mail SMTP Plugin is running as i am able to send testmails.
there is a Newsletter page that has, besides the SiteOrigin stuff, only [newsletter] as content. But that does not work.
What could be wrong?

I have WP Mail SMTP running on version 1.5.2 When I update the plugin I get the following error: Class ‘WPMailSMTP\Admin\Pages\Settings’ not found
I have no cache plugin running. I removed the plugin manually and reinstalled the new version but nothing seems to help.

I have an issue sending mails by Easy Appointments plugin. It sends out different kind of e-mails. Some of them are working fine irrespectively where I define the password but some of them are working with the plain text password only.

Hello,
I have completed setting up my email account using SendInBlue on Word Press plugin WP Mail SMTP. I successfully got API key and inputted into the field.
However, once I try to send test email I get the following error: There was a problem while sending the test email.
Would really appreciate any help. I have also tried setting up using Gmail, and “Other STMP” option but I am still getting the same problem.
