Hello: I am using the Gmail (G Suite) connection and I am getting a 50% success rate with test email sends. Every test email that I send shows as success in your system and it also shows in my sent Gmail Label. But the email never makes it to the email address that I sent it to (50% of the time). Thanks! For some reason the database table was not installed correctly. Please contact plugin support team to diagnose and fix the issue.

Hello,
I’m using your plug-in for my website. But I found out that the e-mails are not sending to hotmail users. I tested it with two different hotmail addresses and my customers who told me they did not get an e-mail were using hotmail accounts as well. I did receive the e-mails to my gmail account tho. I don’t know if other e-mail providers work.
After disabling the plug-in the problem was solved. Although they end up in the spam folder.
Is there any chance this could be fixed?

I’ve set up the Google SMTP as my sender using your guide. When I do the test from the wp mail smtp test email page, it works famously. However, I just tried to re-send a new order notification email via woocommerce, and nothing came. Why would the test email page work, but not the woocommerce order notification (which was sending fine before when I was using mailgun) ?Thank you

I’ve some issue on WP mail SMTP plugin with Mailer Sendinblue, I was try to Send a test email feature and it away show “Test HTML email was sent successfully! Please check your inbox to make sure it is delivered.” but I’m not get any email (already check inbox and junk mail). If I miss any action or data please suggest.

It happened to me too, but when I’ve tried to track my steps back, I remembered I was running WP-Optimize and it advised me to remove tables which according to it, weren’t in use. Well… it seems WP-Optimize advises to remove actionscheduler’s tables. Unfortunately, I allowed it to remove the tables and then I got the same error.
When I’ve reinstalled actionscheduler, the error was gone.
Here’s a screenshot from within WP-Optimize. Maybe you can contact WP-Optimize author and ask him/them to change their advise for these tables…

You’ll see that “WP Mail SMTP” is not mentioned as a plugin using actionscheduler, and as all those that are recognized to use it are not installed on my site, it lets me remove the table (button on the right).

I was greeted with the following message when I log in my wordpress console. I tested my email delivery and found I received nothing：

Therefore I disconnect my original email address, even create another google API project and redirect my website to the new project. The authorizing process goes smoothly without error, but when I get back to my WordPress console, your system always display unconnected no matter how many times I tried.
How could I solve this?

After having site migrated to HostPapa vps, the test email fails via plugin. Could you provide a solution? The smtp host smtp.office365.com worked previous to migration. Thanks for any help you can offer. The email used is via Microsoft Exchange for WPForms and WP Mail smtp plugin.
Within WP admin plugin, Email Log, this was a message in dashboard.

i am having an issue in configuring SMTP. i dont know what is going on but when i select Gmail as mailer and filled in client secret and client ID, as i am saving settings to proceed further, all the details are washed off and default php mailer is selected.

So I was setting up the plugin (which I’ve done 3 times before for other sites with WP Mail SMTP for Gmail, so I’m familiar with the process), but I wasn’t really paying attention to what I was doing and didn’t get the right ID or Secret, because when the 2nd tab opened, it was for another email account. (I didn’t realize this until I tried the 3rd setup.)
So I tried to start over with a totally new project. That didn’t work.
I deleted both of those projects (which I found out takes 30 days to complete for a recovery time period), started another new one, but that didn’t work either. This time I got a: Authorization Error Error 401: deleted_client The OAuth client was deleted.
In Misc, I checked the “delete all info when deleted” box, I uninstalled the plugin from my site, and re-installed it… but I noticed my info was still saved when I opened it.
I deleted the ID/Secret fields, created a new project, and that didn’t work. Same 401 error.
Gmail sent me an email that my projects were deleted, with a link to recover them. When I tried to recover the project on the recovery page, the page won’t load. So I can’t undelete the projects to see if I can somehow fix the ID/Secret, and I can’t find/navigate to the recovery page through the console.
(BTW, the “Check this if you would like to remove ALL WP Mail SMTP data upon plugin deletion. All settings will be unrecoverable.” option DOES NOT WORK. When I checked it and uninstalled the plug in, all of my info was still saved there in the fields when I opened it).

Everything is working great. All emails are sent correctly, they only issue is that a copy of the sent email goes to the inbox. I don’t have any filter in gmail, does anyone have any idea?

Hi,
I recently started using WP Mail SMTP, and I noticed that it uses the Action Scheduler database tables, including actionscheduler_logs.
I’m wondering what triggers the logs in that table. It appears that it’s logging Action Created, Action Started via WP Cron, and Action Completed, but it doesn’t log each specific email sent, and the dates appear to be when the plugin was installed and configured. Is it logging events each time a WordPress component or plugin triggers an outgoing email for the first time?
(The recent raft of draconian privacy laws have made me more than usually attentive to what data is being logged and where. I don’t see anything in that log table that looks like personally identifying or even potentially identifying information, but I’m curious about the logic of it, which will help me better understand if it’s anything I need to be concerned about. I’m guessing not, but I thought I should ask.)

We finally managed to get V2.2.1 activated and working. However, WP Site Health is now issuing the following warning (Critical Issue):
WP Mail SMTP DB tables check has failed
Missing table: wp_wpmailsmtp_tasks_meta
WP Mail SMTP is using custom database tables for some of its features. In order to work properly, the custom tables should be created, and it seems they are missing. Please try to re-install the WP Mail SMTP plugin. If this issue persists, please contact our support.

How can i disable utilising your plugin on our contact form 7 page ?
at present we use sendinblue for all emails and our contact form sends to zendesk which adds these to suspended email becuase of sendinblue headers
so ideally i want to disable utilising your plugin via sendinblue on any contact form

I am trying to set up WP Forms but my mail isn’t going through and I understand that I need to use this plug in for the SMTP however there is one thing I don’t understand. I want to use my site admin email address which is my gmail account to send emails from the contact form to myself? Meaning when somebody submits a wpform on my site the email will be sent from my gmail account to the same gmail account? I don’t get it.

I am using WP mail SMTP. I recently changed the from email address. (Both were gmail.) Now when it sends a message recipients receive an error that says:
“Be careful with this message
This site has never sent you messages using this email address. Avoid replying to this email unless you reach out to the sender by other means to ensure that this email address is legitimate.”
I don’t think there was a phishing error message before I changed the email address. So the error is being shown to existing customers, not new ones. How can I fix this?
