Hi I am using WP Mail SMPT with Mailgun I send a test email to my personal email account xxxx@verizon.net and it doesn’t get through. When I send to any other email provider cPanel, Gmail the test mail gets through fine. I did as you suggested and put the password in the wp-config file
Could you add a line to this page to remind me that if I have to change the password I have to do it in wp-config? Otherwise I am going to forget how to change the password which is now greyed out. I am 68 years old and my memory cannot be relied on

I have installed WP MAIL SMTP.But it is not working.I am getting an error like this:
Could not connect to the SMTP host.
This means your web server was unable to connect to smtp.gmail.com.
Typically this error is returned for one of the following reasons:
-SMTP settings are incorrect (wrong port, security setting, incorrect host).
-Your web server is blocking the connection.
-Your SMTP host is rejecting the connection.

I’ve constants defined only. No wp_options keys.
Whenever I go to Test Email I get this:
“Send Email You cannot send an email. Mailer is not properly configured. Please check your settings.”
Looking at the code I see the bug here:

Every day I log in the backend, I see this message.
Then I send a test email via the contact form, this is successful and the message disappears.
The next day, I log in the backend, I see this message.

Hi
I have the latest version of WP SMTP Mail installed. Our site is hosted on GoDaddy.
have configured the plugin as follows:
Other SMTP
host: smtp.office365.com
port: 587
TLS
authenticated.
(login credentials have been triple checked and i can login into the mailbox directly)
However, when I try to send a test email –
There was a problem while sending the test email.
Could not connect to the SMTP host.
When I swap out the credentials and just use localhost under other smtp, it seems to work fine.
Tried to speak with GoDaddy about it but not sure if they agent I got was inexperienced but he suggested I check the plugin..
Any suggestions?

I have a problem with sending emails, likely since I have updated WordPress to version 5.2. The WP Mail SMTP was working OK until few days ago, that is before the last WP update.
When trying to send a test email, I saw the following message on the test page:
The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
I didn’t get any email, so I don’t know what instructions this message is referring to. Does anyone have the same problem or an idea what is going on here?

I tried the “test email” option, it said that the email had been sent correctly:
“¡El correo electrónico de prueba HTML se envió con éxito! Por favor, revisa tu bandeja de entrada para asegurarte que se entregó.”
However, when I check my email I don’t see the email come through.
I also change the email in the field and it always goes back to the initial email.

Please Help me as I am unable to change the Gmail email ID on the plugin…It is currently linked to my Gmail account “mycreativespill@gmail.com” and is working perfectly. But due to reasons, I need to change it to another Gmail account… I clicked delink but it still doesn’t let me change “From Email add.” at the top!
Please help as soon as possible!

This plugin requests “read” permission from Gmail on integration process with G-Suite. I believe it’s not required and it’s against our privacy since our confidential data is being exposed. It also requires “permanently delete” permission which makes our inbox unsafe. I hope development team find a solution for this issue as soon as possible and come up with an update.

Hello,
So I am having an issue wiht WP mail SMTP I have connected it up with SendGrid and then send a test mail which said it was send checked spam and inbox with no results tried different emails same result after some consideration I installed WP Mail loging and it seems the emails get send but never arrive I used yahoo as the receiving end any idea how to solve this?

Hola, tengo un problema con el plugin, en el mail de testeo me arroja “relay access denied”, yo lo he solucionado en PHPMailer agregando las siguientes opciones:

);
Pero no se donde ponerlas para que funcione el plugin

I managed to make the woocommerce transactional emails work with your plugin and mailgun!
I’ve set up a subdomain at mailgun: mail.mydomain.com because I’m also using gsuite as my business email provider.
Is it a known problem that the transactional woocommerce emails to customers with emails @yahoo.com @outlook.com are landing in SPAM/JUNK folder?
Or can I change something on my end and your plugin that increases the chance NOT to get emails delivered into SPAM folders?
I tested @gmx.com and @gmail.com and the woocommerce emails end up correctly in their INBOX.

I have tried everything to get my office365 email to work on the site and exhaused everything to this point with office365 support. I also tried a gmail email and received the same error
